Oral Presentations

PowerPoint presentations are preferred.  If you need to use an overhead projector or slides, please give us advanced warning (at least 2 weeks before the meeting) to ensure that the equipment is available for use.  Please note the over-head projector only allows landscape orientation.

For PowerPoint presentations please bring with you a copy of your presentation on a disc or memory stick saved for Microsoft PowerPoint (this is particularly important for MAC users to ensure compatibility with BM computers).  Please do not bring a laptop to run the presentation from, unless it is to demonstrate something that will only work on that laptop, e.g. piece of specialised software.

For anything other than a normal simple PowerPoint (e.g. embedded videos) our technicians will need advance warning (preferably two weeks before the meeting) and cannot guarantee success until the files are tested on our equipment by them.  Please contact us as soon as possible if you intend to use such material.

Poster Presentations

Due to constraints of space, the size and orientation of posters must be strictly adhered to. The Conference display boards are only suitable for A1 size (594 x 841 mm) posters in portrait orientation.

Fixing materials will be provided. Pins, tape or other fixing methods must not be used.

Please arrive at 9am so we will have enough time to put the posters up by the first tea break.

Handouts in the form of A4/A3 copies of the poster are often appreciated by delegates.
