Main conference venues
LACONA IX will be held in London from 7–10 September 2011. For information on travelling to London please refer to the Travel & accommodation page.
The main conference venues will be the Darwin Lecture Theatre at University College London and the Clore Education Centre at The British Museum.

The Darwin Lecture Theatre is located in the basement of UCL's Darwin Building, along Gower Street, near the intersection with Torrington Place. It is not accessible from Gower Street. Enter from Malet Place through the rear of the building behind DMS Watson Library (see campus map below). Follow the stairway to the basement, turn right for the Theatre. Wheelchair access is available.

The Registration session @ UCL on 7th Sept will take place in the Darwin Lecture Theatre foyer from 9 am - 2 pm.
Presentations will be held in the Darwin Lecture Theatre.
The afternoon refreshment break will be held in the Roberts building foyer (entrance on Torrington Place, see campus map).

The Clore Education Centre is housed in the lower level of the Great Court in The British Museum. Quickest access is from the main entrance on Great Russell Street. Enter the museum from this entrance, turn left and down the stairs. Wheelchair access is available.

The Registration session @ the British Museum on 8th Sept will take place in the East Foyer from 9 -10 am.
Presentations will be held in the BP Lecture Theatre.
Poster sessions will take place in the Raymond and Beverly Sackler Rooms.
Lunch and refreshment breaks will be held in the East Foyer, outside the BP Lecture Theatre.
